Production of tungsten concentrate will be reduced by more than 10%
Recently, the China Tungsten Industry Association held a forum of responsible persons of tungsten enterprises (groups) in Ganzhou. The meeting agreed that the participating tungsten enterprises (groups) jointly maintain the supply order of the tungsten raw material market, and the output of tungsten concentrate will be reduced by no less than 10 percent this year. According to the statistics of China tungsten association, the annual output of tungsten concentrate by participating enterprises (groups) accounts for 86% of the statistical output of China tungsten association. The leading tungsten enterprises (groups) in our country will take the lead in reducing production, which will play a positive role in improving the current contradiction between supply and demand in tungsten market. Tungsten ore, as one of the "key" minerals in the world, has always been favored by many countries. The British Geological Exploration Institute lists tungsten as the list of supply risks of materials needed to maintain the British economy and lifestyle. In 2016, the state issued the National Mineral Resources Plan (2016 / 2020), which listed tungsten as the national strategic mineral catalogue as the key object of macro-control and supervision and management of mineral resources, and provided differential management in terms of resource allocation, financial investment, mining land use, and so on. With regard to tungsten mining, the total amount of mining in China is controlled and the mining is restricted, which shows its precious degree. In 2019, the countryundefineds first batch of tungsten concentrate (tungsten trioxide content 65%, the same below) mining total control index was issued according to the 2018 target 50%. The total mining control index of the first batch of tungsten concentrate is 49835 tons, of which the main mining index is 38005 tons and the comprehensive utilization index is 11830 tons.
