The powder metallurgy process began to produce molybdenum products in 1910. Until 1945, the powder metallurgy process was a sheet of molybdenum. In the mid-1940s, Parker (RParke) and J.L.Ham developed a method of producing high-performance molybdenum and molybdenum alloy ingots by self-consumable arc melting process. From the late 1940s to the mid-1960s, In order to meet the needs of atomic energy, aerospace and aerospace technologies, molybdenum alloys and related processes have been extensively studied, and Mo-0.5Ti-0.02C alloys have been developed. Mo-0.5Ti-0.1Zr-0.02C (TZM) alloy. From the late 1960undefineds to the beginning of 70undefineds, Mo-Hf-C series alloys with higher strength were made. China began to produce molybdenum products from powder metallurgy billets in the late 1950s. The rods, wires, plates, foil, pipes and rectangular tubes of molybdenum and its alloys were produced from powder metallurgy and smelting billets.
