Tungsten copper alloy

It is also known as W-Cu alloy, English for Tungsten Copper, is a kind of tungsten based and added copper element (content of 6% ~ 45%) alloy. Besides the characteristics of tungsten, it also has the characteristics of copper. The excellent electrical and thermal conductivity of copper gives W-Cu alloy excellent electrochemical performance and heat dissipation, which is suitable for applications in high-voltage switches, electro machining electrodes and microelectronics packaging materials. It is worth noting that the melting point of tungsten (3410℃) and copper (1080℃) is very different, so above 3000℃, the copper in the alloy will be liquefied and evaporated, absorb a lot of heat, thereby reducing the surface temperature of the material, so that the alloy is called metal sweat material, Suitable for missile, rocket engine nozzle, gas rudder, air rudder, nose cone, etc.
