What are the uses of molybdenum crucible?
Molybdenum crucible is produced from Mo-1 molybdenum powder and is used at a temperature of 1100℃~1700℃. Mainly used in metallurgical industry, rare earth industry, monocrystalline silicon, solar energy, artificial crystal and mechanical processing industries. Its production process is molybdenum powder - sieving - batching - isostatic pressing - rough billet turning - medium frequency sintering - fine turning - packaging. Since molybdenum has a melting point as high as 2610°C, it is widely used in core containers in industrial furnaces such as sapphire single crystal growth furnaces, quartz glass smelting furnaces, rare earth smelting furnaces, etc. The working temperature environment used is generally above 2000°C.
Physical and chemical properties of molybdenum crucible:
1. Purity: W≥99.95%;
2. Density: ≥9.8g/cm3;
3. Application temperature environment: 1800℃.
Molybdenum crucible manufacturers stated that, especially for sapphire single crystal growth furnaces, molybdenum crucibles with characteristics such as high purity, high density, no internal cracks, precise dimensions, smooth inner and outer walls, etc., will improve the success rate of seed crystals during the growth of sapphire crystals. The quality control of crystal pulling, decrystallization and pot sticking and service life play a key role.
