Tantalum-tungsten alloy plate
Tantalum tungsten alloy is a kind of alloy formed by adding a certain amount of tungsten element on tantalum matrix. Although tantalum and tungsten are both infinitely solid soluble, when the tungsten content exceeds 12at % -14at %, the plasticity of the alloy will be significantly reduced, when the tungsten content is low, tantalum tungsten alloy not only maintains the low temperature plasticity of pure tantalum, but also has high strength, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, so the tantalum tungsten alloy with lower tungsten content is widely used in aviation, aerospace, chemical industry, nuclear industry and other fields.
The preparation of tantalum tungsten alloy blank usually needs to go through several processes such as mixing, compact, sintering and melting. The high energy ball mill is used to fully mix the tantalum and tungsten powder, and the tantalum and tungsten billet is fully broken and mixed, and then the billet particles are screened by the screening machine to obtain uniformly textured billet particles, so that the structure distribution of tantalum and tungsten alloy plate is more uniform, and the finished product rate of tantalum and tungsten alloy plate processing is improved. At the same time, hot pressing can make the tantalum and tungsten alloy plate compact and improve its mechanical properties. The yield point of the tantalum tungsten alloy plate is increased by three times of cold rolling, and the residual stress of the tantalum tungsten alloy plate is eliminated by four times of annealing, so as to avoid deformation and cracks in the future cutting of the tantalum tungsten alloy plate.
