Molybdenum-ruthenium alloy foil for high-temperature welding and preparation method thereof
Molybdenum has good high temperature strength and high temperature hardness, high thermal conductivity, low linear expansion coefficient, excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. But molybdenum evaporates twice as fast as tungsten and is rarely used in high temperature areas. Ruthenium has high melting point, high hardness, excellent chemical stability, high conductivity and low contact resistance. Molybdenum ruthenium alloy has the advantages of both high temperature strength and high temperature hardness, superior temperature stability, excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, high conductivity and low expansion coefficient, etc., is widely used as high temperature materials in high temperature welding and high temperature oxidation resistance coating.
In microwave electronic devices such as magnetron, electron tube and diode, molybdenum ruthenium solder is almost used for welding of filament and support rod when assembling highly reliable cathode components. Usually, molybdenum ruthenium welding powder is applied for high temperature welding of filament and central support rod and side support rod. Due to the small cathode size, it is difficult to control the amount of welding powder and coating uniformity during the coating process. The particle size of molybdenum ruthenium welding powder is very fine and easy to agglomerate, and the adsorption gas content is high, which will affect the uniformity of the coating of welding powder, resulting in uneven distribution of welding powder at the weld, easy to produce convex nodules, holes and other defects. By using molybdenum ruthenium foil to control solder gauge and thickness, it is possible to solve the problem of poor coating operation and uneven coating of small cathode solder.
