Application of molybdenum in electronics and electricity

As the lead wire, the pure molybdenum wire has a low recrystallization temperature and is prone to embrittlement at high temperature, which influences the service life. In recent years, some people have developed adding Si, k and C elements to improve the recrystallization temperature and produce "high temperature molybdenum pen". By adding rare earth elements in the process of molybdenum oxide production, the recrystallization temperature can be increased more effectively, and the problem of high temperature embrittlement can be overcome. Molybdenum filaments containing 0.1-0.3% zirconium and 0.1% scandium are nitrized at 1200℃ to disperse scandium into the whole alloy. The tensile strength of molybdenum filaments at 20℃ can reach 1400 million Pascals.
