Production technology of molybdenum foil for lamp
The material of molybdenum strip used for manufacturing sealing requires uniform microstructure, high strength, recrystallization temperature and good weldability. The molybdenum material added with trace strengthening elements is made of molybdenum powder by powder metallurgy method, and processed into annealed rough molybdenum wire with diameter of 0.8~ 2.4mm by pressing, vertical melting sintering, spinning forging, wire drawing and annealing. The new manufacturing method of molybdenum foil is to open the rough molybdenum wire hot rolled by special qua droller mill. Then it is rolled to 0.18~0.13 mm. After cleaning and annealing, 12 rolling and 20 finishing mills are used to roll to 0.05~0.025 mm, and then the high precision molybdenum strip is made by continuous polarization electrolytic polishing process.
The molybdenum box used for sealing with quartz glass should bear the stress caused by high temperature sealing, thermal expansion and cold contraction and thermal expansion coefficient difference under the application state, so it should have high recrystallization temperature, high temperature strength, good plasticity and surface quality. To ensure air tightness, the edge of molybdenum foil is designed as a cutting edge, the thickness of the cutting edge should be no more than 3 um, and the cross section is willow leaf. So the cutting edge of the book will produce plastic deformation in the heating sealing and cooling process, and reduce the stress of the sealing after cooling to a minimum degree, not cause the quartz glass tiny burst, to ensure that the tungsten halide lamp, mercury lamp and metal halide lamp inner tube core does not produce chronic leakage.
