Molybdenum foil anti-oxidation function for quartz automotive halogen light bulbs
Since halogen quartz lamp essentially belongs to the category of vacuum device, the sealing end of quartz glass shell is very strict, because a pair of molybdenum foil connecting the filament and molybdenum rod is clamped in the sealing end. Since the sealing end is composed of two symmetrical flap structure fused together, it is commonly called the clamped end. And because in the process of use, once the sealing end appears even a slight crack, a pair of molybdenum foil will be oxidized and the whole quartz bulb scrapped in advance. Especially for some high-power automobile headlamp bubbles and light bulbs with poor heat dissipation, the oxidation degree of cracked molybdenum foil at the clamp is aggravated because the temperature at the clamp is high and the desired heat dissipation effect is not obtained. So the problem of molybdenum foil being oxidized should be solved.
The quartz automobile halogen bulb comprises a quartz glass shell, a filament, a pair of molybdenum strips and a pair of molybdenum rods. The quartz glass shell is extended with a clamping part, which is composed of two pieces of quartz glass fused together. A pair of molybdenum strips are clamped inside the clamping part, and one end of a pile of molybdenum rods is electrically connected with the other end of a pair of molybdenum foils. By mixing red phosphorus with solvent 1:1 by weight, molybdenum foil anti-oxidation coating is obtained: molybdenum foil anti-oxidation coating is applied on the outer surface of the fused joint of two quartz glass pieces. It plays an ideal role in preventing oxidation of molybdenum strip.
We can produce molybdenum foil according to customer's requirement.
