Tungsten alloy block
Tungsten alloy block is a high density, ductility, high temperature corrosion resistant metal material, can be used in the manufacture of weight parts and some parts used in high strength environment.
Tungsten alloy block has good physical and chemical properties, such as high density, strong hardness, good ductility, high temperature corrosion resistance and so on.
High density: tungsten alloy block is made of high specific gravity tungsten alloy, so the density is very high, can reach the density of ordinary steel more than two times.
Good machining characteristics: due to the good ductility of tungsten alloy block, it can be machined by turning, milling, planing, turning thread and tapping, as well as by rolling, rotary forging, forging and other large deformation strengthening processing means to manufacture various shapes of parts.
Good ductility: the bulk products made of W-Ni-Fe high density alloy have good ductility, the elongation of sintered state can reach 10%~15%, after vacuum or atmosphere dehydrogenation treatment, the elongation can be increased to 20%~30%.
High tensile strength: the tensile strength of sintered tungsten alloy plate is 800~1000MPa, and its strength can be increased to 1300~1500 MPa after heat treatment and deformation processing.
Good electrical properties: the material has good electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, high voltage resistance and other electrical properties.
Good thermal conductivity and low linear expansion coefficient: its thermal conductivity is 5 times that of die steel, its linear expansion coefficient is only 1/2~1/3 of iron or steel.
Good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
Good weldability: high density alloy can be brazed with copper and silver welder, and can be electroplated.
Tungsten alloy block a commonly used metal counterweight. Counterweights that can be used for military defense, such as guns, prefabricated fragments, and military weapons. In addition to the use of military industry tungsten alloy blocks are also used in civil industry, such as automobile counterweight, ship matching weight, sports equipment counterweight, etc.. Tungsten alloy blocks can be processed into medical shielding parts and other parts in the medical industry. Tungsten alloy block material is special, in high temperature and high pressure environment can maintain good performance, so the material is widely used in this special environment.
Tungsten blocks are commonly used for weapon parts, extrusion molds, and counterweights such as speedboat counterweights, vehicle counterweights, aircraft counterweights, helicopter counterweights, ship counterweights, and tank counterweights. Extrusion die is a kind of molding technology needed in the process of material processing, including the workpiece extrusion in the hard die, so as to reduce the cross-section of the workpiece, improve its strength. Tungsten alloy blocks are widely used in extruding die parts due to their high melting point and corrosion resistance. The counterweight is one of the main use of tungsten alloy block, which is not only the reason for the high density of tungsten alloy products, but also because of some other special metal properties of tungsten alloy block, such as good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, good machinability, etc., can improve the service life of tungsten alloy block.
