Molybdenum wire
Molybdenum wire is mainly a consumable made of precious metals such as molybdenum, which is continuously moved by a high voltage electric field during wire cutting. As an important metal material, molybdenum wire has been widely used in aerospace, metallurgy and chemical industry, machinery and electronics, automobile manufacturing and other fields. The production process of molybdenum wire is as follows:
Molybdenum wire is made of molybdenum powder as raw material. After the square or round rod molybdenum is obtained by powder metallurgy, the finished wire with different specifications (generally D6.5 ~0.02mm, mainly D3.5 ~0.05mm) is prepared by rolling, rotary forging, stretching and other pressure processing with various technological means.
The application of molybdenum in iron and steel industry is the most important, accounting for about 80% of the total consumption of molybdenum, followed by the chemical industry, accounting for about 10%. In addition, molybdenum is also used in electrical and electronic technology, medicine and agriculture, accounting for about 10% of total consumption.
Molybdenum metal industry (including molybdenum crown, molybdenum cyanosis, wire cutting molybdenum wire, electric light molybdenum wire, etc.) and alloy industry demand for molybdenum accounted for 6% and 4% of the total molybdenum demand respectively.
