Tungsten steel belongs to hard alloy, also known as tungsten titanium alloy. Hardness can reach 89~95HRA, because of this, tungsten steel products (common tungsten steel watches), with not easy to be worn, hard is not afraid of annealing, but brittle characteristics.

The main components of cemented carbide are tungsten carbide and cobalt, which account for 99% of all components, 1% of other metals, so it is also called tungsten steel.

Often used for high-precision machining, high-precision tool materials, lathes, impact drilling bits, glass cutter head, ceramic tile cutter, hard and not afraid of annealing, but brittle quality. It is one of the rare metals.

Tungsten steel (hard alloy) has high hardness, wear resistance, strength and toughness is good, heat resistance, corrosion resistance and a series of excellent properties, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, even at 500℃ temperature is basically unchanged, at 1000℃ still has a high hardness.

Cemented carbide is widely used as a material, such as turning tool, milling cutter, planer, drill, boring cutter, etc., for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metal, plastic, chemical fiber, graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel, but also can be used to cut heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel and other difficult to process materials. The cutting speed of the new cemented carbide is hundreds of times that of carbon steel.

Tungsten steel (hard alloy) can also be used to make drilling tools, mining tools, drilling tools, measuring tools, wear-resistant parts, metal abrasives, cylinder linings, precision bearings, nozzles and so on.

1, structural parts: tungsten steel used for structural parts of the products are many, such as conversion ring, shortening machine piston, lathe chuck, grinding machine spindle, bearing journal, etc..

2, mold: used for all kinds of mold of tungsten steel accounts for about 8% of the total tungsten steel production, drawing die, cold heading die, cold extrusion molding, hot extrusion die forming dies, hot forging die, as well as drawing tube core rod, such as the long core rod, ball core rod, a floating core rod, etc., in recent years rolled wire with all kinds of consumption growth quickly, the roll with tungsten steel drill has accounted for 3% of total tungsten steel production. 3, geological mining tools: geological mining tools is a great use of tungsten steel. China's geological and mineral tungsten steel accounts for about 25% of the total production of tungsten steel, is important for impact drilling with drill head, geological survey with drill, mining oil field with drilling, cone drill and coal cutter cutter, building materials and property impact drill.

5, wear-resistant parts: wear-resistant parts made of tungsten steel nozzle, guide rail, plunger, ball, tire nail, snow scraper plate, etc.

6, cutting tools: tungsten steel drill can be used as a variety of cutting tools. The tungsten steel consumption of cutting tools in China accounts for about one-third of the total tungsten steel production, which is used for welding tool 78%, for indexable tool 22%. And CNC cutting tools with tungsten steel only accounted for 20% of the indexable cutting tool with tungsten steel, in addition to the overall tungsten steel drill, the overall tungsten steel small circular saw blade, tungsten steel micro drilling and other cutting tools.

7, other uses: tungsten steel is more and more widely used, in recent years has been inexhaustible expansion of civil scale, such as watchchain, watchcase, zipper head of advanced bags, tungsten steel trademarks.
