Molybdenum bar
Molybdenum bar is a kind of bar with molybdenum as the main raw material.
Brief introduction:
1. Molybdenum reserves in China rank among the top in the world. There are molybdenum deposits in Jinxi, Liaoning, Jinduicheng, Shaanxi, Jilin, Shanxi, Henan, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Sichuan, Jiangxi and other provinces, with large reserves and good development conditions. Molybdenum ores with industrial value are mainly molybdenite (MoS2), and about 99% of molybdenum ores are mined in MoS2 state. At present, China's molybdenum concentrate is mainly exported to Russia, Japan and western countries.
Nature of 2.
MoS2 is lead-gray, similar to graphite, with metallic luster, belonging to hexagonal crystal system. The crystal is usually hexagonal flake, with patterns on the bottom surface, soft and smooth, and thin and flexible. The specific gravity is 4.7 ~ 4.8, the hardness is 1 ~ 1.5, and the melting point is 795℃. The stripes of MoS2 on the ceramic plate are light green gray or light green black. When MoS2 is heated to 400 ~ 500℃, MoS2 is easily oxidized to form MoS 3. In order to study the microstructure and properties of molybdenum rod before stretching, the drawing process of molybdenum wire was reasonably developed. The gleeble-1500 thermal simulator was used to align 6.0 at 1000 ~ 1200℃ High temperature tensile tests were carried out on mm rolled pure molybdenum rod and doped molybdenum rod, and the microstructure changes and fracture morphology of molybdenum rod before and after rolling were analyzed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. The results show that the maximum tensile strength of pure molybdenum rod and doped molybdenum rod is 175 MPa and 223 MPa respectively. The maximum elongation was 43.8% and 37.3%, respectively. The fracture morphology of the two materials at high temperature is ductile fracture.
Application: heating electrode in glass industry, bulb support for electric light source, stirring rod in rare earth smelting industry, vacuum furnace screw, high temperature structural parts and other high temperature components.
