Application field of titanium zirconium molybdenum (TZM) alloy
TZM alloy (titanium zirconium molybdenum alloys) is a kind of superalloy formed by adding a certain amount of Titanium and Zirconium to molybdenum. It has been widely used in many fields because of its excellent high temperature strength, high recrystallization temperature, good electrical and thermal conductivity, low expansion coefficient and corrosion resistance. The specific performance is as follows:
1. Good mechanical properties under high temperature and high pressure make it widely used in military industry, such as valve body in torpedo engine, rocket nozzle, nozzle throat lining, valve body, gas pipeline, etc.;
2. Use its corrosion resistance as the main shaft of glass furnace stirrer in color picture tube glass shell production line;
3. Because it has a high melting point, can also be used to do black or non-ferrous metal die casting material and seamless stainless steel pipe perforated head;
4. Titanium-zirconium-molybdenum alloy plate is also widely used as the wall of high-temperature furnace and heat insulation screen of hot isostatic press;
5. Used as cathode, grid, high voltage rectifier element in electronic and electrical industry;
6. Used in nuclear energy equipment as radiation cover, support frame, heat exchanger, rail, etc.
