Tungsten target material is mainly used in aerospace, rare earth smelting, electric light source, chemical equipment, medical equipment, metallurgical machinery, smelting equipment, petroleum and other fields.

Tungsten is a rare metal and an important strategic material. China is a major tungsten producer with reserves of 5.2 million tons, accounting for 65% of the world's total reserves. The reserves of tungsten in Hunan, Jiangxi and Henan provinces rank the top three in China, among which Hunan and Jiangxi provinces account for 55.48% of the total. Hunan is dominated by scheelite, jiangxi is dominated by wolframite, and its wolframite resources account for 42.40% of the total resources of wolframite in China. Tungsten is a rare metal with a high melting point and belongs to the VIB group of the sixth period (second longest period) of the periodic table. Tungsten is a silver-white metal that looks like steel. Tungsten has a high melting point, low vapor pressure and low evaporation rate.

Tungsten comes in two variants, alpha and beta. The α - type is a stable body - centered cubic structure at normal temperature and pressure. Beta-type tungsten can only occur in the presence of oxygen. It is stable below 630℃, and converts to α tungsten above 630℃, and this process is irreversible.

After spraying and sintering, the tungsten target has the characteristics of 99% density or higher, average transparent texture diameter of 100um or smaller, oxygen content of 20ppm or less, deflection Angle of about 500Mpa. The cost of tungsten target can be stabilized at a low price by improving the production of unprocessed metal powder and sintering ability. The sintered tungsten target has a high density, a transparent frame of a high level that cannot be achieved by traditional pressing sintering methods, and a significant improvement in deflection forces, resulting in a significant reduction in particulate matter.
