Automobile spraying
The melting point of molybdenum is as high as 2620 ℃, and it has good high temperature performance and corrosion resistance. Molybdenum has strong adhesion with steel, so it is the main thermal spraying material in the production of automobile parts. High speed flame spraying of molybdenum wire is generally used for automobile parts. The gas mixing jet device of spray gun produces high temperature gas combustion. The specially designed combustion chamber and gas mixing jet chamber enable the molybdenum wire to be sprayed on the surface of workpiece at a very high speed before complete melting. The density of sprayed molybdenum can reach more than 99% and the bonding strength is close to 10kg/mm2. This process can effectively improve the wear resistance of the worn surface and provide a porous surface which can be impregnated with lubricating oil. It is widely used in automobile industry to improve the performance of piston ring, synchronous ring, fork and other worn parts, and also to repair worn crankshaft, roller, shaft rod and other mechanical parts. According to the information, the annual sales volume of spraying molybdenum wire in European market can reach 1000 tons, the annual consumption in the United States is about 600 tons, the annual consumption in Japan is 30-40 tons, and the annual market capacity of spraying molybdenum wire in China is less than 30 tons. However, with the development of China's automobile industry, the thermal spraying of automobile gears and other parts will have a great development, and the sales volume of spraying molybdenum wire will increase greatly.
